So I haven't been writing for a while, even though I've been reading. But I've been reading practical books on how to make purses and move to France, so there haven't been much of note. Besides, I think I've had writer's block for...oh, 23 years.
Joyce Carol Oates: "Writer's block is the temporary paralysis caused by the conviction, on an unconscious level, that what the writer is attempting is in some way fraudulent, or mistaken, or self-destructive."
So maybe that's it. Who knows?
