I've been reading, I promise, despite my recent spate of 24-hour work and party schedule last weekend that I'm only starting to recover. Let's see: worked at 7am for the Fourth of July, went to the UN for fireworks, then a sweatshop rooftop for fun. Sat: woke up late, but went to party at midnight when I had to work at 7am Sunday. After work Sunday, I went to dinner with Shomial and then a party at Ft. Awesome. After too little sleep Sun night, I went to work Mon night and Tues night. Somehow I'm still alive. But now stupid.

In spite of all this business, I've been enjoying E. Tufte's Envisioning Information, which is mostly for information design but applies to the age-old question of form v. content. He clearly claims for information design a priority on data to which the design, the box, should present and elucidate rather than imprison. Mute grids and backgrounds, use colors like Nature does. Good advice. Wish life was so easy.
